The beautiful garden directly outside the glass narthex doors is a memorial garden that holds the cremated remains of loved ones from All Saints‘. The first of the interments occurred in 1964 and they continue to the present day. A committee consisting of Angie Egan, Betsy Eisenmann, Betsy Hirst, and Maggie Marshall created a plan for the garden’s future and renovations were recently completed. There is now an outdoor plaque that lists those interred that can be seen by all visitors who come. Previously, our only record was a beautiful watercolor by Joyce Youngberg, which had not been kept up to date. Iron railings were also added along with new stone work that greatly added to the garden’s beauty and safety.
