Pie Baking Workshop

pieSaturday,
November 15th, 9 am

Calling all pie makers, crust rollers, and apple peelers!! If you can peel apples, mix the filling and/or make pie crusts, or if you have ever wanted to learn how, please join us in the Parish Hall on Saturday, November 15th for our annual pie-baking workshop for what has become a yearly tradition of making the best homemade apple and blueberry pies around, just in time for folks to buy for the holidays!!

Even if you can only stop in for an hour or two of peeling or mixing, do come and join in the fun. We will start at 9am and go until we are finished. Coffee and breakfast pastries will be provided for breakfast, and there will be a light lunch served around noon.

Donations of fresh apples, frozen blueberries, sugar or flour (or funds to help purchase supplies) are also welcomed. If there are any volunteers willing to make a large batch of soup for lunch, it would truly be appreciated. If you have any questions and/or you can help with donations, please use the Contact Us page and select “Parish Life” from the “To be contacted” pull-down menu. This will send E-mail to Marilyn Livingston and Liz Landers. Hope to see you there and if you have extra peelers, paring knives or rolling pins, please bring them along!
